Antrim Construction Company Limited has a long and proven history in the building of fine quality homes. Detailed measures are taken to ensure that all our homes are built to high standards. To meet these standards we employ proven and traditional methods of building, incorporating, where appropriate, the very latest advances in materials and techniques. We aim to provide you with a home of fine appearance, maximum comfort and ease of maintenance. All our homes are registered with the National House Building Council for inspection purposes and qualify for the N.H.B.C. 10 Year protection certificate.
Structure External walls are of traditional cavity construction. The Ibstock Brick collection (Axminster Blend and Orange Red Multi) is used for the external finish. Thermal insulation to walls, roof space and habitable areas is provided to achieve a substantial energy saving.
Fascia, Barge, Soffit White uPVC
Roof Scott Gemini flat concrete roof tile (brindle). Dry fixed ridge tiles with the Scott Victoria Red Crown design where applicable. Buff octagon chimney pot.
Rainwater Goods White aluminium seamless guttering with square white PVC downpipes.
Windows White uPVC, double-glazed with locking latches. Fully tiled dormer windows where applicable.
Doors Hardwood front door painted white and white uPVC back door. Choice of 4 or 6 panel, white, pressed hardboard internal doors with antique brass effect scroll latch furniture. Fully retractable 8070 “Sunbury” white GRP, panelled design garage door.
Internal Trimming 6” Moulded MDF skirting, painted gloss white. 4” Moulded MDF architrave, painted gloss white. Homes with stairways will incorporate hardwood newel posts, handrails and turned balustrades where appropriate.
Ceilings Smooth plastered ceilings. White glass fibre insulated push up loft access trap door. MDF moulded cornice to all ground floor ceilings.
Electricity A generous provision of power points is provided throughout the house. Electrical sockets will be positioned to suit individual needs, where possible. Electrically operated smoke detectors are fitted as standard. A bulkhead light is fitted at the back door. A choice of front door light is available. A front door bell is provided. N.I.E. connection fee is paid by Antrim Construction Company Limited.
PC Sums Kitchens, Fireplace and Sanitary Ware may be chosen from a nominated list of suppliers. Ventilation fans are fitted in kitchens and bathrooms. A Beam Vacuum system is fully installed.
Heating/Plumbing A specially designed oil fired central heating system is standard in each home. This will incorporate a boiler and there will be radiators in all main rooms. The system is programme controlled to ensure a performance suitable for most individual requirements and to provide a separate hot water supply. There is an electric immersion heated fitted next to the insulated copper hot water cylinder. A PVC Beehive Style oil tank is fitted as standard. Plumbing for a washing machine and an outside tap is supplied as standard.
Security External front and rear doors will be fitted with security locks. All windows will be lockable. A NACOSS approved burglar alarm system with four internal sensors, front and rear door contacts and internal and external sounders will be fitted.
Groundwork’s A pavia path with pink pebbles edging around each dwelling will be laid where applicable. A turfed lawn will be laid to the front and back garden. Treated rail fencing will be erected where applicable. A pavia driveway will be provided as standard. Front and rear doorsteps will be tiled.
Payments A £500 holding fee with 5% deposit (on basic price) required on signing Building Agreement. No stage payments required.
Additional Options A list of options is available for each house type. Additional options may be considered but will only be incorporated into the property if a binding contract is in existence between parties at the requisite state of construction. Structural changes will not be considered.
