Antrim Construction Company Limited has a long and proven history in the building of fine quality homes. Detailed measures are taken to ensure that all our homes are built to high standards. To meet these standards we employ proven and traditional methods of building, incorporating, where appropriate, the very latest advances in materials and techniques. We aim to provide you with a home of fine appearance, maximum comfort and ease of maintenance. All our homes are registered with the National House Building Council for inspection purposes and qualify for the N.H.B.C. 10 Year protection certificate.
Structure External walls are of traditional cavity construction. The Stately Manor brick collection (Barkley and Chestnut) and decorative coloured render is used for the external finish. Thermal insulation to walls, roof space and habitable areas is provided to achieve a substantial energy saving.
Fascia, Barge, Soffit White uPVC with decorative timber features painted gloss white where applicable.
Roof Black concrete roof tile. Dry fixed ridge tiles with octagon chimney pot.
Rainwater Goods White aluminium seamless guttering with square white uPVC downpipes.
Windows White uPVC, double-glazed with locking latches.
Doors GRP front door. White uPVC back door. Ash veneer internal doors with brushed chrome effect latch furniture. Manually operated, retractable garage door.
Internal Trimming 6” square edge MDF skirting complimented by 4” architrave painted gloss white. Homes with stairways will incorporate ash newel posts, handrails and square ash balustrades treated with clear preservative where appropriate.
Ceilings and Walls Smooth plastered ceilings. White glass fibre insulated push up loft access trap door.
Electricity A provision of power points is provided throughout the house. Electrically operated smoke detectors are fitted as standard. A bulkhead light is fitted at the back door. A sensor light will be fitted at the front door. A front door bell is provided. N.I.E. connection fee will be paid by Antrim Construction Company Limited. Detached garages will have internal lighting and at least one double socket.
Kitchen/Sanitary Ware Kitchens, fireplaces and sanitary ware will be supplied and fitted by ACC Limited. A choice of doors, & Fireplace handles and worktops are available for kitchen/utility selection.
Audio An integrated docking system suitable for Ipod type devices, complete with amplifier and two ceiling speakers will be provided in one room.
Heating/Plumbing A specially designed Phoenix Natural Gas central heating system is standard in each home. This will incorporate a boiler and there will be radiators in all main rooms. The system is programme controlled to ensure a performance suitable for most individual requirements and to provide a separate hot water supply. There is an electric immersion heater fitted next to the insulated copper hot water cylinder. An outside tap is provided.
Security External front and rear doors will be fitted with security locks. All windows will be lockable (except those deemed “emergency” escape routes). A burglar alarm system will be installed (non monitored).
Groundwork’s A pavia path with pebble edging around each dwelling will be laid where applicable. A turfed lawn will be laid to the front and back gardens. Treated rail fencing will be erected where applicable. Vertical board fencing will be provided to back gardens where applicable. A pavia driveway will be provided as standard. Front and rear doorsteps to match driveway/path. Properties will be landscaped at the builder’s discretion.
Additional Options A list of options is available for each house type. Additional options may be considered but will only be incorporated into the property if a binding contract is in existence between all parties at the requisite stage of construction.
